Avoid roaming costs with MO-Call

MO-Call is not only great at slashing your outbound international calls, but can also be used to save on your expensive roaming bills while you're travelling. Here are some simple ways to reduce your mobile roaming costs with MO-Call.

Local callbacks

This method cuts roaming costs completely by making your calls from local numbers instead of your roaming mobile. All you pay is the MO-Call callback rate. How it works:
  1. Select the "World Service" from your MO-Call app or log into your MO-Call account from a computer or mobile web browser.
  2. Enter a local number to make the call from. This could be the phone in your hotel room or even a friend's phone.
  3. After dialing the international number, pick up the local phone and the call is connected.

Local SIM plus MO-Call

This method is ideal if you travel regularly to, or spend a lot of time in a particular country. If you travel to a MO-Call Home country, you'll benefit from the fantastically low MO-Call Standard rate. How it works:
  1. Register a local SIM card of the country you travel to with MO-Call. You can either register a new account separately, or add that additional number to your existing account.
  2. When you arrive in your country, put in the SIM card and use MO-Call on your phone normally.

Mobile and PC VoIP apps

When you come into range of a Wi-Fi hotspot, connect using a compatible version of MO-Call from your mobile or computer to make cheap or completely free internet calls. How it works:
  1. Connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot from your mobile or from your computer.
  2. Open MO-Call from your mobile or from your computer and log into your MO-Call account.
  3. Dial your international number or call one of your online MO-Call contacts.

Cheap SMS while roaming

Use MO-Call to send cheap SMS over the internet while you're travelling. You can send SMS with MO-Call by logging into your account via a web browser, through the MO-Call Desktop app or from supported MO-Call Mobile apps. If you connect via a free Wi-Fi hotspot, you'll just pay the cheap MO-Call SMS rate. If you connect through GPRS or 3G, check your Roaming Data plan with your provider. How it works:
  1. Connect to the internet on your mobile or on your desktop.
  2. Open your MO-Call app or log into your account from any web browser.
  3. Write your SMS and send. The SMS will be sent over the internet and be delivered to the recipient.
